The Air Chair features a
Single Overhead Connection
for both the Hammock &
Footrest! This gives you a
lot of flexibility as to
where you can hang this
chair! You are not
restricted to a two point
connection like a hammock.
Nor do you have to lie in
the "bow" position. The
Hammock reclines to any
position! Wrap it over a
tree branch, or use the eye
lag (included) to go into
any solid 2 x 4 or larger
joist or beam.
Constructed of 2 sheets of
600 x 600 Denier Nylon,
which is rated for 600
pounds of weight. Basically,
anybody that can fit in it
can sit in it! We do
recommend you restrict
yourself to 300 lbs. of
weight for interior
installations as the
integrity of wood varies
from home to home especially
due to the age of the wood.
The rope
we use is made of
Polyethylene. This is the
same rope that the coast
guard uses as water ski tow
rope. The rope is rated to
hold 2,200 pounds and is UV
protected.
The dowels
of the Air Chair are made of
Northern White Ash, similar
to the major league baseball
bats. The Northern White
Ash, grown in the State of
Maine is one of the
strongest Hardwoods
available.
Decay-Proof! The Air Chair
will not mold or mildew and
it is machine washable ! We
use the same fabric as your
$600 high-end backpacks
found in the Outfitter
Stores. It will withstand
the outdoor elements
exceedingly well. Fading is
minimal after a few years
depending on the color but
the fabric will not lose its
strength integrity.
The
Hammock reclines to ANY
position … just like a Lazy
Boy chair! It will recline
to the bow position (like a
hammock) or all the way
forward for reading. The
height of the Air Chair is
also adjustable so you are
not restricted to one
position.
Great for
Camping! Just hang the Air

Similar
chairs on the market might
be a couple dollars cheaper,

The
Hammock is constructed of a
Superior denier nylon fabric
and has 2 layers as opposed
to a single layer of cotton
canvas. Canvas will in time
rot, mold, and mildew if
left outdoors. We have
re-sold Hammocks to many
former "other chair" owners,
because the same area seems
to rot out first. This is
the bottom area where the
person sits.
Denier
nylon is the steel of the
fabric industry. Back Packs
that go up Mount Everest are
made of this same material!
